Process Engineer
As a Process Engineer, you will serve as a vital connection between design teams, the production floor, and external partners, ensuring our processes are seamless and cutting‑edge. You will lead manufacturing process improvement projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives. Your role involves designing and implementing advanced manufacturing cells in collaboration with equipment suppliers to select and integrate the best tooling and machinery.
You will apply your expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles to analyze and streamline production workflows, eliminating waste and boosting productivity. Additionally, you will utilize innovative technologies like Augmented and Virtual Reality to visualize and validate new machine designs and cell layouts before implementation.
- Lead manufacturing process improvement projects from concept to completion.
- Design and implement state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing cells.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to select and integrate tooling and machinery.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline production workflows.

Skills & Qualifications
- BS in Engineering for 2 of the 3 openings (Manufacturing or Mechanical degree).
- For the 3rd opening: no degree required with 5+ years of experience or an associate's or bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 8D, FMEA, SMED).
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., NX, AutoCAD) and familiarity with PLM systems like Teamcenter.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
This is a Permanent position based out of Rockford, IL. It is a fully onsite role in Rockford, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $/yr, up to a 10% bonus each year depending on business unit performance. Medical, dental & vision coverage included. Benefits include:
