Mechanical Valve Engineering Analyst

Constellation Energy seeks a Mechanical Valve Engineering Analyst to support safe, reliable operation of critical valve systems across our energy generation and distribution assets. In this role, you will analyze valve performance data, perform sizing and selection, review mechanical designs, and support root-cause investigations for equipment issues. You will develop and maintain specifications, support outage and maintenance planning, and collaborate with operations, reliability, and project engineering teams to implement improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in a highly technical utilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze valve performance data and trends to support reliability and safety
• Perform valve sizing, selection, and specification for projects and upgrades
• Support root-cause analyses for valve and mechanical equipment issues
• Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and engineering documentation
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams on valve-related work
• Provide engineering support during outages, testing, and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Recommend and implement design and process improvements for valve systems
