Avionics Support Technician is responsible for effectively performing avionics routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C, and D checks. This position will be working swing shift (4:00PM-2:30AM).
What you will be responsible for:- Must be able to read and comprehend technical direction and documentation.
- Reads, understands, and implements directions of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify and locate associated components on the aircraft.
- Troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data and supervision.
- Performing avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data and supervision.
- Performing avionics and electrical modifications with supervision.
- Understanding engineering methodology for systems installations.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Aviation or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.

Compensation:The anticipated salary range for this position is $16.84 to $21.27 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
