Configuration Management Analyst M​/F

Safran is looking for a Configuration Management Analyst with a passion for delivering solutions that provide consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development efforts across the enterprise. As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will be able to develop a diverse product knowledge while maintaining effective communication within the engineering organization. In this role, you will ensure that the processes followed, and data produced for newly developed and supported product meets customer and company requirements throughout its life.

This includes the management and control of data and support to engineering and other project team members related to product configuration management processes, practices, and systems.

• Manages and maintains effective communication with Engineering team members to understand individual support requirements.
• Develops diverse product knowledge.
• Drives improvements based on end user experience.
• Reviews, analyzes, and releases change requests to drawings.
• Reviews, analyzes, and releases deviations/waivers.
• Applies knowledge from Engineering and Government Standards and becomes first point of contact for configuration management concerns.
• May work with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.
• May work with engineers to release procedures for testing systems and equipment.
• Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes.
• Reviews drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
