- Assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications
- Perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery with the project team
- Assist with conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software
- Contribute to project delivery for rail and transit planning and design projects
- Support passenger, freight, and light rail transit operations analyses
- Assist with planning and construction studies from an operations and data-based perspective
- Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours
- Support preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
- Assist with project quantity and cost estimates
- Organize and provide administrative support for design files
- Support research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD or other software
- Relevant coursework experience with railway engineering
- Ability to learn and apply software models, including RTC and Open Track
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Demonstrates strong engineering principles and design capabilities, with proficiency in software tools such as Micro Station and AutoCAD. Capable of supporting rail and transit planning projects through effective research, calculations, and project delivery.
