EVS Floor Attendant

The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining public and team member areas in a clean, sanitary, and attractive condition.

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
• Promptly at start of shift, review schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work, schedule, and prepare for operations.
• Wipe down all machinery on a shift‑by‑shift basis.
• Inspect and clean all restrooms.
• Pick up and dispose of paper and other rubbish left by patrons throughout the pavilion.
• Upon ending your shift, secure all equipment and machinery, and complete all required paperwork.
• Performs all other duties as assigned and adheres to all Illinois Gaming Regulations and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

• Safe use of hazardous materials.
• Basic hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent guest service skills and communication skills.
• Janitorial duties.

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and be on feet for entire shift.
• Position requires person to be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch and climb on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
• Must comply with safety policies and procedures, and routine handling of hazardous cleaning chemicals and wastes.
