We are partnering with a growing, mission-driven organization to hire a Regional Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.
About the Role
This is a highly visible role for a finance leader who enjoys partnering with operations, translating financial insights into action, and helping business leaders make better decisions every day. This role supports multiple communities and works closely with executive leadership, operations, and local management teams.
Responsibilities
- Preparing ad-hoc analysis, financial models, and business cases that support leadership decision-making
- Partnering closely with Operations leadership to analyze actuals vs. plan and proactively influence performance against targets
- Working directly with Executive Directors to coordinate monthly forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan
- Coaching and training community leaders and department managers on budgeting tools and financial best practices
- Participating in monthly operational calls with a focus on cash flow, operating margin, and revenue and expense projections
- Preparing and presenting materials for quarterly financial advisory meetings
- Supporting the Integrated Strategic Plan (ISP) by developing projections for census, revenue, and expense assumptions
- Providing insight into business trends and financial risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- MBA or CPA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, or a related financial discipline
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or a related industry is a plus, but not required
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and/or accounting
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights
- Confident, independent self-starter who also thrives in a collaborative environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance leaders
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of judgment around what “makes sense”
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior audiences
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated experience working with financial systems and tools, including Excel, planning applications, and general ledger systems
Preferred Skills
- Travel to assigned communities up to two times per year
- Office and community-based work environment
