Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing accurate and data-driven insights to support key business decisions. This role involves analyzing financial performance, preparing forecasts and budgets, developing reports, and identifying trends that drive profitability and efficiency across the organization. Candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
• Assist in developing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct detailed profitability, cost, and margin analyses across business units or product lines.
• Support senior management with ad hoc analyses and presentations.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Evaluate financial impact of business initiatives, capital investments, and pricing strategies.
• Assist with financial modeling and scenario planning.
• Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to company financial policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years related accounting/finance experience
• BS degree with preference for accounting graduates or significant work experience that demonstrates technical skills, job knowledge, and personal characteristics listed in this position description.
• Clear understanding of financial statements including balance sheets
• Ability to respond to situations outside of normal working hours as needed.
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Authorized to work in the United States

$85,000 to $95,000 annual salary
