ABOUT THE ROLE:This role will work in collaboration with the Compliance/BSA Officer to champion the regulatory compliance and Bank Secrecy Act efforts of the Bank through risk assessment, collaboration with business lines, provision of training, and testing and monitoring of bank processes to evaluate potential risks.
You Will:- Assist in the implementation of the Bank’s regulatory compliance and Bank Secrecy Act training program for all employees, including new hires.
- Consults with and advises business line managers affected by regulatory compliance and BSA issues or changes
- Perform testing and monitoring of compliance processes
- Maintain current knowledge of all bank compliance policies relative to BSA, the USA PATRIOT Act, AML and OFAC, and participate in periodic BSA/AML training
- Utilize ASM software for identification of fraudulent items and high‑risk customer behaviors
- Act as a compliance resource for all employees
- Provide support with compilation of audit and examination requests
- Respect and maintain customer privacy and confidentiality at all times.
This is an on‑site position working 40 hours per week working Monday - Friday, depending on coverage needs.
Work is done in a typical office environment, so employees are required to operate numerous types of office equipment. The position requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, stretching, and stooping. The ability to frequently view and read computer screens or paper documents is required.
RequirementsABOUT YOU:
- Minimum 3-5 years of banking experience
- Education beyond high school or alternatively, a combination of formal education, training and relevant banking experience. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related discipline is encouraged.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Strong computer software and data entry skills, particularly Excel and Word; the ability to quickly adapt to other specialized software applications and comfort using the internet as research, and a working tool.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work productively and independently, demonstrating attention to detail and requiring limited supervisory overview.
- High degree of organizational and multi‑tasking ability.
- Ability to recognize issues of significance and prioritize assignments.

- This is an hourly, non‑exempt position with an expected pay range of $21.00 - $29.00. This is a best estimate of the pay range, but the hourly rate may be higher for candidates with direct or relevant experience.
- Paid time off is available up front, including paid vacation time, paid flex (personal) time, paid volunteer time off, and 11 paid holidays.
