Director of Finance

The Director of Finance has a key leadership role responsible for the financial health and success of the company. You will provide strategic fiscal guidance and ensure government contract compliance.

• Executive Strategy:
  Drive long‑range planning, market analysis, and forecasting to guide company growth and decision‑making.
• Financial Integrity:
  Oversee monthly and year‑end closing, financial reporting, and the development of robust, scalable internal controls.
• Team Development:
  Lead and mentor a diverse team across finance and accounting, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

• Government Expert:
  Ensure absolute compliance with FAR, DFAR, TINA, CAS, and ITAR standards for all government contracts.
• Contract Negotiation:
  Assist in negotiating commercial and government contracts, balancing technical specifications with financial bottom‑line goals.
• Relationship Management:
  Manage external partners, including banking, insurance, and major subcontractors, ensuring seamless flow‑down of contract requirements.
• Cost Management:
  Oversee labor and material standards and manage "Estimate to Complete" (ETC) metrics for all programs.

All other duties assigned by manager.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred or related industry.
• Experience:
• 15+ years of combined experience in aerospace finance and/or accounting.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing multi‑faced, high‑performance teams.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in Quick Books and MS Office Products (Including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Cost accounting proficiency and a deep understanding of multi‑level Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Compliance:
  Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship).

• Standard office environment; occasional exposure to manufacturing plant noise/temperature, requiring PPE.
• Frequent speaking, listening, and computer use.
• Vision requirements include depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
