We are seeking a motivated and experienced   Mortgage Lender II   to join our team in Rockford, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage lending, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage the loan process from application to closing efficiently.

Key Responsibilities   Originate and process mortgage loan applications in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate borrower creditworthiness and financial status to determine loan eligibility.
Provide expert guidance to clients on mortgage products, rates, and terms to help them make informed decisions.
Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.
Ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual loan production goals.
Required

Skills and Qualifications   Active and valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license.
Minimum of 2 years experience in mortgage lending or related financial services.
Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to analyze financial information and credit reports effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient with mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education   High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
