- Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning
- Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements
- Develop and train team members
- Foster and build opportunities for clients, communities, and people

- Perform tax procedures according to engagement size and complexity
- Review complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Help guide the long-term direction, talent development, and client strategy of the Financial Services Tax practice
- Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA is required; JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA certification
- Deep understanding of tax issues affecting banks, insurance companies, investment funds, and specialty finance entities
- Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740, partnership taxation, REITs, and financial instruments
Demonstrates expertise in tax planning and compliance, with a strong focus on developing team capabilities and client strategies within the Financial Services Tax practice. Proficient in reviewing complex tax returns and understanding tax issues specific to financial institutions.
