Job Summary
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Lateral Entry Sheriff's Deputy.
The successful applicant will perform the duties and responsibilities of a Sheriff's Deputy.
Qualifications- Citizen of the United States
- Certified peace officer
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license in the State of Illinois
- No felony convictions or other crimes that would prevent attending academy or possessing a firearm.
- Background Investigation
- Psychological Assessment
- Medical Examination
Applicants must successfully pass the examinations above.
