Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist
Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients following established protocols
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and response to therapy, adjusting treatments as necessary
Maintain detailed patient records, treatment logs, and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance standards

Requirements
Valid Illinois state licensure or certification for Radiation Therapists
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in radiation therapy
BLS certification
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment procedures
Excellent patient care and communication skills
