• Hospital-based MRI department
• Various shift options available: 5×8‑hour shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), 4×10‑hour shifts (8:00 AM–6:30 PM), or 3×12‑hour shifts (8:00 AM–8:30 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM)
• 36 hours per week with occasional weekend shifts required
• On‑call and holiday rotation required
• Uses MRI systems, surface coils, physiologic gating devices, and associated equipment
• Uses radiology information systems including PACS
• Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and instruction to ensure cooperation and minimize anxiety
• Select and apply appropriate pulse sequences and protocols, considering data acquisition parameters
• Perform venipuncture, start and maintain venous access, and prepare and administer contrast media
• Apply MRI safety principles to minimize risk to patients, self, and others
• Assist physicians with interventional procedures using aseptic technique and universal precautions
• Evaluate images and data for technical quality; manipulate and reconstruct digital data for display and archiving
• Works as part of a multidisciplinary team; may participate in committees and departmental projects
• May provide practical instruction to students and peers

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(MRI) registrations required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• License required if applicable
