** Join our team as a Director of Sales at Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront!
**** What You’ll Do
*** Lead and motivate a sales team of five while partnering closely with the General Manager to drive total hotel revenue
* Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize room, group, and conference center performance
* Actively solicit new business, build long-term client relationships, and represent the hotel in the community
* Participate in client meetings, conduct site tours, and deliver persuasive sales presentations
* Analyze market trends, competitive data, and booking pace to adjust pricing and sales strategies
* Oversee forecasting, reporting, and sales activity tracking to support business goals
** What You’ll Bring
*** Proven sales leadership experience with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals
* Confidence, initiative, and a competitive mindset balanced with collaboration and relationship-building
* Ability to coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Hotel or hospitality sales experience preferred, though strong sales backgrounds from other industries are welcome
