Are you a relationship-driven professional looking to make a real impact? Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a Recruiter to join our established team in Rockford, IL! You will source, evaluate, and onboard top talent for local client partners while creating customized recruiting strategies across various industries.

• Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000/yr.
• Benefits:

• Shift/schedule:
  First Shift / Standard Business Hours (Primarily in-office with up to 2 remote days per month)

• Source, interview, and evaluate candidates for diverse roles across multiple industries.
• Partner with clients to establish talent objectives, write job postings, and develop recruitment plans.
• Build active candidate pipelines using internal databases, job boards, social media, and community outreach.
• Guide candidates through client interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding with ongoing coaching.
• Manage background checks, employment verifications, skills assessments, and ATS record-keeping.
• Support working employees on assignment with regular check-ins and performance management.
• Represent Spherion at local hiring fairs, community networking events, and workforce development functions.

• Education & Experience:
  
  Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience); prior recruiting or business development background is a plus, but not required!
• Interpersonal
  
  Skills:
  
  Exceptional written/verbal communication with a strong ability to build trust with candidates and clients.
• Organization & Tech:
  Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quick to learn new recruiting tools and software.
• Attributes:
  Proactive, curious, target-driven, and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
