Job Description
As a scrum master, you’ll support a development team that is modernizing and securing critical projects. You will coach the team to achieve high performance, ensuring scrum principles are understood and the project progresses successfully. Using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Mural, you will strengthen process improvements to facilitate a repeatable sprint cadence and deliver secure solutions within aggressive timelines.
In this role, you’ll directly impact military missions by integrating modern security solutions with existing technology environments. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in scrum software development and operational delivery while delivering solutions that improve national security.
Responsibilities- Coach an Agile development team to achieve high performance and maintain a successful sprint cadence.
- Ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood by team members and stakeholders.
- Lead daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and requirements sessions.
- Coordinate between technical delivery teams and customers to ensure requirements are well understood.
- Implement sustainable process improvements to meet aggressive timelines and deliver secure solutions.
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master serving Agile teams.
- Experience using Agile software project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Mural.
- Facilitation experience for daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and requirements sessions.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal direction while staying engaged in a team delivery environment.
- Risk mitigation skills using techniques to avoid, reduce, transfer, or accept risk.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Secret clearance.
- Certified SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Experience collaborating with multiple teams in enterprise organizations.
- Knowledge of project and program management practices.
- Knowledge of budget tracking and management.
- Ability to coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement.
- DoD 8140 Certification.

Secret clearance is required.
Salary range: $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, and contract requirements.
