Release Manager

Riverwoods, IL

Primary responsibilities include Release Management, SNOW Change Management, and Infrastructure Knowledge.

• 7-9 years of Change & Release management, especially within infrastructure support
• Plan major infrastructure upgrades without affecting project testing or environment batch schedules
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams such as Middleware Operations, SAN Ops, Oracle DBA, and Firewall Ops for release planning
• Communicate planned changes to project managers and business teams
• Chair bi‑weekly Infrastructure CAB meetings
• Review daily change management reports and assess submitted Change Tickets
• Approve or reject infrastructure change tickets
• Update Change Management Schedules for new, approved tickets
• Add service providers to CAB meetings for new changes
• Publish updated schedule on Share Point
• Track completion status of change tickets

Applications will be accepted until 5/29/2026. The annual salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to applicable plans.
