Job Description
We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst I based in Lake Bluff, Illinois. In this role, you will be required to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various office technologies while providing exceptional customer service. You will work as part of a dynamic team in a fast‑paced, problem‑solving environment within the IT consulting industry.
Responsibilities- Provide first‑level technical support for office desktops, laptops, peripherals, networks, servers, and proprietary systems
- Utilize Microsoft products and other software such as Citrix Technologies, Lotus Notes, and Active Directory to resolve technical issues
- Manage and prioritize workload to ensure efficient resolution of customer inquiries
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues
- Provide telephone support and remote troubleshooting for customers experiencing technical difficulties
- Work independently to diagnose and repair hardware issues, including desktop and laptop hardware
- Collaborate closely with team members to solve complex technical issues
- Drive to client sites as required, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to deliver in‑person support
- Manage network printers and other peripheral devices to ensure seamless operations
- Utilize knowledge in Configuration Management, Deskside Support, and EO/IR systems to enhance the customer experience
- Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is necessary
- Familiarity with database operations and management
- Experience with EO/IR systems is essential
- Knowledge of Lotus Notes is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and software
- Experience with Active Directory is crucial
- Understanding of computer hardware is necessary
- Familiarity with configuration management is required
- Experience in deskside support is essential
- Knowledge of desktop hardware is required
- Proficiency in creating and managing laptop images
- Familiarity with laptop hardware is necessary
- Experience in providing telephone support is crucial
- Proficiency in managing network printers is required
