Workday Integrations Consultant
Configure, unit test, and maintain Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, reports, and orchestrations. Identify process improvements and develop medium to high complexity reports.
Accountable for timely and quality execution of client deliverables across multiple Workday projects with minimal supervision, ensuring deployment and support of Workday HCM and/or Financials applications throughout the full project lifecycle.
Lead discussions with clients on scope and solutions, provide consultative advice, and guide less experienced colleagues. Participate in internal initiatives to improve consulting methodology and documentation.
Responsibilities- Configure and unit test Workday integration requirements.
- Develop medium to high complexity reports and orchestrations.
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of client deliverables.
- Support deployment of Workday HCM/Financials applications from design to go‑live.
- Create work estimates for smaller bodies of work.
- Build and maintain working relationships with project teams, management, and external clients.
- Lead client discussions on scope, solutions, and recommendations.
- Provide direction and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in internal initiatives to refine consulting methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, Economics, or related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience working with Workday or comparable technologies.
- 2–3 years’ experience developing Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, reports, orchestrations).
- Experience implementing or supporting Workday, People Soft, Oracle, or other SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of object‑oriented programming, APIs, XML rendering, XLTs, and web services.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to manage complex work streams.
- Adaptability to fast‑paced environments and frequent change.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
- Up to 25% travel required.
- Workday Studio certification preferred.
- Workday Integrations certification strongly preferred; if not certified, successful completion of required certification is required.
