Information Technology Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organisation’s technology environment, including infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and user support. This role ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of IT operations while supporting business priorities through continuous improvement and effective delivery of technology services.

• Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and operational procedures
• Manage day-to-day IT operations across infrastructure, networks, systems, and end-user support
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all technology platforms
• Oversee system upgrades, implementations, and ongoing maintenance activities
• Lead and support the IT service desk, ensuring timely resolution of issues and service requests
• Define and monitor service levels and performance metrics
• Manage IT assets, including hardware, software, and licensing compliance
• Coordinate and deliver IT projects from initiation through to completion
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and solutions
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to support business efficiency
• Administer cloud and productivity platforms, including user access, security settings, and system health monitoring
• Maintain identity and access management controls, including authentication, role‑based access, and conditional policies
• Monitor and respond to security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans
• Oversee server environments and supporting infrastructure technologies
• Provide advanced technical support for complex systems and integrations
• Maintain network connectivity, firewall configurations, and endpoint security tools
• Support system integrations and data management across platforms
• Establish governance and best practices for enterprise systems, including configuration, change control, and data integrity
• Provide user support and training for core systems and business applications
• Assist with reporting, data analysis, and system enhancements where required
• Manage IT onboarding and off‑boarding processes and user lifecycle activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user training material
• Manage the IT budget, monitor spend, and identify cost efficiencies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across IT operations

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure management
• Strong understanding of networks, servers, cloud services, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity principles
• Experience working with enterprise applications and integrated technology environments
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical capabilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting cloud platforms, collaboration tools, and identity management solutions
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools is an advantage
• Understanding of data management, reporting, and integration concepts
• Experience working in complex, multi‑system environments
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced setting
• Strong documentation and process improvement skills
