We're partnering with a Fortune 100 leader undergoing one of the largest Warehouse Management System (WMS) transformations in the country. We're looking for an experienced supply chain technology leader who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, leading critical implementations, and making an immediate impact where it matters most.
This is not a traditional corporate IT role.
You'll spend the majority of your time onsite inside distribution centers during overnight operations, partnering directly with warehouse leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful WMS implementations and operational excellence.
What You'll Do- Lead onsite support during major WMS implementations and post-go-live hypercare activities.
- Serve as the bridge between warehouse operations and technology teams, translating operational needs into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex warehouse execution issues and drive rapid resolution.
- Partner with Supply Chain, IT, Blue Yonder, and business leadership to improve processes and system adoption.
- Analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams through high-impact operational transformations.
- Support change management, user adoption, and training initiatives.
- Develop KPIs and metrics to measure operational performance and technology effectiveness.
- 10+ years leading Supply Chain Technology, WMS implementations, warehouse operations technology, or large-scale operational transformation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and distribution center operations.
- Experience supporting warehouse implementations, go-lives, hypercare, or major system rollouts.
- Ability to solve technical and operational problems in real time.
- Strong leadership skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in active warehouse environments.
- Blue Yonder experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, automation technologies, or related supply chain systems.
This position is designed for professionals who enjoy being onsite where the work happens.
- Approximately 80% travel throughout the United States.
- Primarily overnight shifts supporting 24/7 warehouse operations during WMS implementations.
- Work directly inside distribution centers during critical project phases and system go-lives.
- Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S.
