A law firm seeks a talented and driven Mid-level Litigation Associate to join its team in Rockford, Illinois. This role is ideal for candidates with 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, offering the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a strong litigation team. The position involves handling a variety of litigation matters and representing clients in courts and arbitration proceedings, along with understanding of corporate and other practice areas.

• Manage all aspects of commercial litigation matters, including discovery, court appearances, depositions, expert issues, and client management.
• Represent clients before courts and arbitrators in both Law and Chancery Divisions across the state.
• Coordinate and handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Prepare and present complex legal arguments, motions, and documents.
• Engage in legal research, drafting, and client communication.

• 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Must be admitted to the IL State Bar.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

• Must be admitted to the IL State Bar.

• Ability to manage and prioritize complex litigation matters.
