Logistics Leader

Woodward's Aerospace Division is seeking a Logistics Leader in our Loves Park, Illinois campus to lead supply chain operations and improve efficiency across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. This role develops and implements supply chain strategies, monitors performance, manages vendor relationships, and partners with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

Estimated annual base pay: $ 105,000-$140,000

All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategy Development:
    Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies tailored to the specific needs of the business segment to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Operational Management:
    Oversee daily supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution to meet business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
    Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Vendor and Partner Relationship Management:
    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply and high service standards.

    Collaboration:

    Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and product development to align supply chain activities with overall business goals and drive integrated solutions.

    Plans, executes, and oversees supply chain projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet the desired objectives.
