Support Technician
.
- Assist airframe technicians with structural modifications, repairs, and component installations on various aircraft.
- Support fabrication and installation of structural components, including fasteners.
- Remove and install aircraft interior components such as sidewalls, ceiling panels, and cargo bay panels (forward and aft).
- Perform removal and replacement of aircraft seat tracks and assist in skin repair and replacement tasks.
- Support fabrication and repair of airframe parts including shear ties, stringers, floor beams, frames, webs, and bulkheads.
- Ensure compliance with technical data and safety standards during all maintenance and repair activities.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must be able to read and comprehend technical direction and documentation.
- Reads, understands and implements directions of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify and locate associated components on the aircraft.
- Asks questions as necessary to increase knowledge or skill.
- Maintains his/her work area in an orderly and clean manner.
- Records his/her time worked as directed by his/her supervisor

CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this position is $16.59 to $20.11 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
