Dupage County, IL, Client is seeking an Engineering Supervisor (Manufacturing) to deliver building project work from conceptual design through drawing completion and supervise the small engineering team.

This role reports to the Manager of Engineering to provide outstanding customer service to external and internal customers.
This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a salary of up to $90k with full benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Takes high-profile drawings and provides precise details to Production for all the components, calculating material requirements, cutting sizes, and quantities, following Company Standard Processes and Drawings.
• Create flat layouts to be used for CNC programming when necessary.
• Uses CNC Software and develops programs for Amada Punching Machines, ensuring proper materials usage and work accuracy.
• Creates cut sheets for all the components.
• Creates and maintains Work Orders and Engineering Masers for the ERP system.
• Attending daily meetings as support from the department.
• Schedule team meetings to track progress and concerns within the department.
• Supervise and train team members in the department.
• Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process.
• Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
• Completes details and development projects by training and guiding technicians.

• Must have hands‑on experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment with experience supervising a team of 4+ people.
• Experience with AutoCAD with knowledge of ERP systems such as Visual, JDE or SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel and software programming skills in SQL and .Net.
• Ability to consistently meet or exceed deadline expectations with demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
• Technical ability to learn a diverse product line with excellent technical aptitude, analytical and detail‑oriented.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering is a plus.
