Job Skills / Requirements

LACOSTA is looking for an experienced forklift driver, warehouse team member for our site in Rockford, IL.

Shifts Available:

1st

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday

2nd

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate:

$19.00/hr., Paid weekly!

Requirements:

* Ensures orderly production and warehouse areas by removing cardboard, pallets, and handling the recycling.

* Contributes to orderly operation of materials storage area by assembling totes.

* Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.

* Operates forklifts, cardboard compactor, auger, and other machinery.

* Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.

* Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of THREE years of previous forklift operation

* Must be comfortable operating a STAND UP forklift

* Must have previous warehouse experience

* Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position

* Organizational Skills

* Ability to read and analyze information

* Adept to handling multiple tasks simultaneously

* Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines

* Excellent time management

* Ability to lift heavy materials

Essential Functions:

* Ability to wear required PPE (Hi-Vis Safety Vest, Safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes) for entire 8-hour shift.

* Must be able to constantly switch from standing/sitting.

* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
