The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in forklift operation and loading trailers according to a shipping plan.

Material Handler — Rockton, IL

• Pulls and stages units according to serial number (prints labels and bill-of-lading, puts labels and packing list on units).
• Checks all material to be packaged against shipping order for accuracy and stores in proper area.
• Verifies picklist with bill-of-lading.
• Assembles appropriate containers, inserts items into containers using required filler and accessories.
• Closes container using staples, nails, tape, strapper, etc.
• Stencils or pastes identifying information and/or shipping instructions onto containers.
• Separates and organizes boxed parts on skids.
• Maintains inventory records and shipping supplies (i.e. past, stencil, fillers, labels, etc.).
• Loads and unloads packaged product onto transportation vehicles from warehouse.
• Checks door locks and jack stands.

• Performs preventive maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
