About the RoleWe are hiring a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic to support production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a day-shift role with consistent hours and optional overtime, typically around 5 hours per week
The focus is strong mechanical troubleshooting. You will work with pneumatic systems, limited hydraulics, and some electrical components including basic PLC exposure. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, comfortable reading blueprints and schematics, and confident diagnosing equipment issues in a production setting.
Industry background is not important. What matters is solid mechanical troubleshooting experience in manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on industrial production equipment
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems and limited hydraulic components
- Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting, including minor PLC-related work
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions
- Work closely with production to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- ment Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with pneumatic systems and some hydraulic exposure
- Basic electrical troubleshooting ability: PLC familiarity is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- AAS degree or Maintenance certifications preferred
- Dependable, hands‑on, and comfortable working in a production setting
- $28–$35 per hour based on experience and education
- Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
- Overtime is optional, but candidates should ideally expect approximately 5 hours per week
