The Production Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that optimize production efficiency while minimizing waste and costs.
- Collaborate with other engineers and production teams to ensure processes are safe and compliant with industry standards.
- Plan and schedule production activities to ensure timely delivery of product.
- Use production planning software to monitor progress and make necessary adjustment.
- Ensure that products meet quality standards by developing and implementing quality control procedure.
- Conduct inspections and tests, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and system.
- Develop maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality control, maintenance, and management, to drive continuous improvement in production processes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required
- 3+years of experience in production engineer or manufacturing engineer role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, proficiency in project management, and familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Experience in battery, electronics, or automotive manufacturing.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in production planning software and tools, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize production processes and address any challenges that arise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that production targets are
- English communication skills preferred (written and verbal).
