About the roleOur Alorton team, composed of 33 people, is integrated into the Special Chem business unit.
As a Production manager, you will manage the Alorton production and quality teams activities. You will get the opportunity to contribute meeting the business target for the site and oversee production, logistics and quality activities on a daily basis. You will be accountable for:
- Managing the Production supervisor, the on-site logistics staff and laboratory technicians
- Ensuring safe, quality, efficient production is achieved to meet customers' requested deliveries
- Continuous improvement in safety, productivity and quality through training and technology
- Setting daily priorities with the team
- Managing the ISO 9001 program for the site, leading quality incident investigations, and leading on-site customer engagements
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemical or mechanical engineering. Relevant work experience in Process, production, quality or engineering in addition to supervisory experience.
Competencies- Extensive knowledge of plant product line and applications
- Knowledge of lab testing methods and instrumentation
- Knowledge of quality inventory and shipping modules of SAP, regulations for shipment of samples
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication to all levels of the organization
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is $124000,00 - $155000,00 per year in USA.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
