Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Support professional for the 2nd shift to help maintain and improve production processes at our Rockford, IL facility. The role is Onsite and requires a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other qualified status). This position does not require a security clearance.
Responsibilities- Provide primary 2nd shift manufacturing engineering support for the production floor.
- Maintain job instruction sheets and ensure they meet current requirements.
- Create and update routings in Solumina.
- Work non‑conforming hardware through rework and Root Cause Cause Analysis (RCCA) activities.
- Design and order new/replacement tooling to support operations.
- Make systematic improvements to drive manufacturing costs down.
- Utilize data to characterize process failures, conduct root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and mistake‑proofing.
- Identify and implement improvement and automation projects.
- Drive all manufacturing readiness levels for all activities in development.
- University degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting production issues.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident (“Green Card” holder).
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and/or Solumina (preferred).
- Aerospace industry experience (preferred).

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range is a good‑faith estimate representative of all experience levels and may be influenced by factors such as role, function, responsibilities, and candidate qualifications.
