Fund Development Data & Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall management of the donor database
• Provides administrative support to the Philanthropy Team
• Records all donations in Bloomerang database
• Manages procedures, business processes, and documentation for all gift processing
• Identifies potential contributors through research on individual donors, foundations, and corporations
• Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of gift receipts and acknowledgements to donors
• Generates reports from database information for internal and external purposes
• Facilitates access and provides database training to other members of the fund development team
• Manages all donor information and oversees research and prospect management
• Attends and assists with Fund Development events

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-3 years related work experience
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Shows initiative and has ability to work independently
• Competency in fund development functions including strong knowledge of fund development database systems, Bloomerang preferred
• Superior database and computer skills
• Donor database experience preferred
• Strategic approach to problem solving
• Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week; weekends and evenings may be required
• Must have a reliable vehicle for travel within the GSNI territory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
