Rate: $3,128/40-hours

Requirements:

Active RN license in state of practice.

Minimum 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience (ICU, ED, PACU, or Procedural preferred).

BLS and ACLS required; PALS may be needed depending on patient population.

Competency in moderate sedation, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and basic airway management.

Strong IV skills and experience with central lines, vascular access, and sterile procedures.

Ability to work in fast-paced environments, take call (if required), and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments, review histories, allergies, and diagnostic results.

Provide moderate (conscious) sedation and continuously monitor patient response during procedures.

Assist radiologists with invasive procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, vascular access, and device insertions.

Monitor hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, and airway status throughout the procedure.

Prepare and maintain sterile fields; assist with procedural equipment setup and troubleshooting.

Manage vascular access devices, IV infusions, medications, and emergency interventions.

Provide post-procedure monitoring, manage pain or complications, and ensure safe recovery.

Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and post-procedure care instructions.

Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Document all assessments, medications, sedation levels, and procedural details accurately in the EMR.
