American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with Phase 1, pre‑op, and Phase 2 experience for a 13‑week travel contract in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license.
Requirements- Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Phase 1 PACU experience required, as well as pre‑op and Phase 2 PACU experience
- PACU setting within a surgical/OR department
- Experience with Phase 1 PACU, pre‑op, and Phase 2 PACU required
- Schedule is 4x10‑hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating start times (0800–1830, 0900–1930, 1000–2030, or 1030–2100)
- On‑call coverage may be required for Friday nights (2100–0700) or Sunday nights (2300–0700), approximately once per 6‑week schedule cycle
- Weekend call coverage spans Saturday 0700 through Sunday 2300
- In the event of a night shift call‑out, additional on‑call coverage (2030–0700) may be required Monday through Thursday
- No routine on‑call assignments for travel staff, but occasional coverage may be needed
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification cards must be provided for consideration
- Holiday on‑call coverage may be required
