Job Description

Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and examination of Serological Protein Electrophoresis results.
• Evaluate donor reactions at the facility and apply SOPs for medical emergencies, including standing orders and transport to emergency care.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for findings requiring medical or technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER for further evaluation.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate qualification from a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Current license or certification in the state of assignment: LPN or LVN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfilled state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Completed FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
