Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Weekly Pay (36 Hours)
- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,470
- Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,224
- Weekly Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- 12-hour Nights
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency obstetric procedures
- Recover and monitor patients following cesarean deliveries in the PACU
- Care for obstetric patients presenting through the OB Emergency Department (OBED)
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Active Illinois RN License required
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Experience working in a mid-size to large hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Strong fetal monitoring, labor management, and maternal/newborn assessment skills

- 401(k) Plan: The Synectics Inc. Investment Savings Retirement Plan. Synectics offers all employees who are 21 years of age or older the opportunity to invest in the 401(k) Plan on the first of the month following at least 1 calendar year after employment begins.
