Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Requirements:

• Current nursing license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
• Document patient care according to standards of care.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician or facility policy.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care in other units/departments.
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, appropriately escalating concerns when necessary.
