- Current nursing license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
- Document patient care according to standards of care.
- Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician or facility policy.
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
- Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care in other units/departments.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, appropriately escalating concerns when necessary.
