American Traveler is hiring a Level 1 Trauma Center OR RN with at least 3 years of OR nursing experience for a night shift assignment requiring an active IL RN license.

• Acute care setting within a Level 1 Trauma Center's Operating Room department
• 15 operating suites with an average of 25-45 cases per day
• Case specialties include general, GYN, urology, plastics, robotics, neuro, ortho, spine, EENT, and cardiothoracic
• Uses Epic EMR
• Night shift schedule, Monday through Friday,
• No floating required
• Call requirements approximately once per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Charge RN available 24/7 on every shift and does not take a patient assignment
• Supported by surgical techs (1-2 per patient) and CNAs (3-4 during days, reducing to 1 by 7pm)

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• BSN not required
• Scrubbing required
• Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Casual professional dress required to enter/leave the facility
• Unit/department specific orientation is 1 week
• Local rate available for clinicians with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility
• No radius rule restricting eligibility
• COVID vaccine not required for this facility
• Cancellation policy allows the equivalent of 12 hours per 13-week assignment with no penalty
