CNA, Nursing Home

Hopedale Medical Complex seeks a full-time CNA to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in our nursing home. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and safe transfers while promoting dignity and comfort. You'll closely observe and report changes in condition, support restorative care, and communicate with RNs, therapists, and families. This role is ideal for a caring, dependable CNA who values teamwork, community connections, and long-term relationships with residents in a rural, patient-centered setting.

• Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Assist residents with safe transfers, mobility, and use of assistive devices
• Measure, record, and report vital signs and changes in resident condition
• Support feeding, hydration, and nutrition according to care plans
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times
• Follow infection control, safety, and fall prevention protocols
• Accurately document care in charts or electronic health records
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and other team members to support care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents and families, fostering trust and respect
• Assist with restorative and range-of-motion activities to maintain function
