American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk L&D experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center and current IL licensure.
Details- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Night shift schedule from 6:45P to 7:15A
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required
- 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- High-risk labor & delivery experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required
- Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing standards and policies
- Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient plans of care in coordination with physicians
- Documents care according to established standards
- Participates in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance
- Provides clinical expertise and guidance to support patients' longitudinal plans of care
- Uses critical thinking to prioritize patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
