PositionSummary
We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead and maintain our ISO 9001:2015‑compliant Quality Management System (QMS) within a fast‑paced fastener manufacturing environment. This role ensures product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across all quality‑related functions.
Key Responsibilities- QMS Leadership:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 QMS, ensuring compliance through internal audits, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Customer Complaints & Corrective Actions:
Investigate customer complaints, lead root‑cause analysis (8D, 5 Why), implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness. - Nonconformance & Containment:
Manage nonconforming product processes, including identification, segregation, disposition, lead containment actions and backtracking analysis. - Calibration & Testing:
Supervise calibration of gauges and equipment; oversee QA lab testing to ensure product compliance with specifications. - Process Change Management:
Coordinate customer notifications and approvals for changes in production processes, tools, or locations; manage validation and first‑article inspections. - Internal Auditing:
Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and customer‑specific requirements, track and close audit findings. - Team Supervision:
Lead QA staff, including engineers and lab technicians; provide training, performance feedback, and support for professional development. - Communication & Reporting:
Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and present findings to management and customers; lead quality review meetings. - Continuous Improvement:
Review work instructions and drive process improvements across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in fasteners or metal components.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, quality tools (FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC), and problem‑solving methodologies.
