Supervisor QA
This position is a part of LSG Operations and is located in Rockford, IL. This role will lead, coach and develop a Quality Assurance team supporting key quality activities across site operations. This role emphasizes collaboration, partnership, and a solutions-oriented approach—working cross-functionally to support the business while upholding quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safety within the team and promoting safe working behaviors
- Designing mechanisms to track and analyze key quality metrics; updating and presenting tier boards, communicating performance to leadership, and driving countermeasures for gaps
- Partnering with Operations and cross-functional teams to support business objectives while proactively ensuring quality standards are met
- Evaluating performance of direct reports and working with them on development opportunities
- Overseeing teams performing inbound inspection, site metrology, and preventive maintenance activities
- Overseeing equipment calibration programs, including scheduling and tracking (e.g., pipettes, scales)
- Overseeing generation of product documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal quality system requirements
- Planning, supporting and leading audits and audit activities
- Managing customer complaints and partnering cross-functionally to drive timely, effective resolution
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of quality records, documentation, and training programs
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and operational performance
- Constructing presentations and delivering to leadership
- Other duties as assigned
· HS Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred in a scientific discipline or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant quality or regulated environment experience will also be considered.
Experience- 5+ years of experience in an operations and/or quality environment required
- Experience leading, coaching, or developing team members required
- Exposure to quality systems (e.g., inspections, audits, calibration, and documentation) required
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize Microsoft Office and ERP programs
- Successfully leading and developing a team
- Ability to work in an office, manufacturing or laboratory environment, as needed
- May require occasional lifting and extended periods of standing
- Ability to work some overtime, as needed

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $75,800.00–$.
