• Position: Laboratory Research Assistant (Temporary, 900 hours)
• Hours per Week: 25
• Location: Rockford, IL USA (On‑Site, 90 miles northwest of Chicago)
• Salary: $15.00 / Hourly Wage

Assist in laboratory tests based on research projects under faculty supervision.

• Perform experimental tests and assays. Record and analyze results to provide conclusive data for research projects. Work with survey data from smokers.
• Maintain materials, methods and records of experimental procedures, including evaluations of data accumulated.
• Compile and summarize results for reports, manuscripts, grants and articles for publication.
• Research literature to stay current with laboratory research methods and terminology.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of assigned laboratory.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Perform related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Prior experience in laboratory research.
