Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies, ensuring proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly.
• Process Orientation & Safety – Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently. Follow safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure environment.
• Product Knowledge & Installation – Stay updated on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through Auto Zone systems. Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Age: 18+
• Basic automotive knowledge required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
• Experience in automotive retail
• ASE Certification (preferred)
