Customer Service Position

This represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. You could expect the position of a customer service person to include the following:

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers' purchases into bags
• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars
• Retrieve carts from parking lot
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management

Training will be provided at store level.

Physical demands include bending, stooping, pushing carts, working outside in seasonal weather, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours).

Additional requirements for internal candidates:

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.00
