Ensure that patrons, partners, donors and guests receive exemplary customer service and enjoy an outstanding experience at the golf facilities through direct interaction and teamwork with other staff members.

• Greet patrons, welcome them, and thank them when they leave.
• Clean and prepare golf carts for patron use; wash, charge, and store after use.
• Keep range ball machine stocked with golf balls.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of practice facilities and range balls.
• Provide information and instructions for patrons entering the golf course; coordinate tee times efficiently.
• Provide customer service to practice center patrons.
• Assist with tournaments, outings, special events, and lesson programs as requested.

• Maintain knowledge of general and department safety rules.
• Enforce safety rules and correct unsafe behavior.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Cooperate with accident investigations.
• Attend safety program and in‑service meetings.
• Monitor and report weather and other hazardous situations.
• Use HRIS system for payroll and clock‑in/out.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Flexible schedule, including shifts as early as 5:30 a.m. and as late as 7:00 p.m.
• Basic knowledge of golf course operations and rules preferred.

• Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Follow policies and procedures, including cash control.
• Maintain professionalism when responding to customer issues.
• Learn tee time reservation systems and point‑of‑sale software.
• Attention to detail and organized workspace.
• Promote memberships and explain services confidently.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Monitor conditions and report safety concerns promptly.
• Use computers and learn new software.
• Multi‑task, prioritize, and adjust to changing tasks.

• Occasional lifting of more than 30 pounds.
• Frequent lifting of more than 15 pounds.
• Constant lifting of more than 5 pounds for moving objects.
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stretching, squatting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.

• Outdoor conditions: heat, cold, and varying weather.
• Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens.
