Block Clerk

Job Summary:

The block clerk records the amount of final bids on vehicles running during the auction and ensures buyers sign block tickets.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards all customers and employees
• Record amounts of final bids for vehicles in auction
• Responsible for getting buyers' signatures on block tickets
• Responsible for accuracy in all documents
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be 18 or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to hear well in loud environments

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years related experience required.
• Experience with Peachtree/Sage a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires frequent activities such as sitting, walking, observing, and listening.
• The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and moderate noise levels.

Pay:$65.00 per day

Work Hours:

Approximately 8:00 am
-12:00 pm
