Naked Diablo Tequila is seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Representative to represent and grow the brand across an assigned territory. This role is designed for entrepreneurial sales professionals who want direct ownership of their results and uncapped earning potential tied directly to performance.

The Area Sales Representative is responsible for driving maximum sales growth by expanding distribution, increasing velocity, and strengthening brand presence across both retail (off-premise) and on-premise accounts. Success in this role requires disciplined execution in the field, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to balance short-term sales wins with long-term brand equity development.

This position must uphold the integrity, values, and mission of Naked Diablo Tequila while operating in full compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations. The Area Sales Representative reports to the assigned Regional Sales Director and works closely with distributor partners and internal leadership to achieve sales and distribution objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive incremental sales growth by actively working the trade five days per week across on-premise and off-premise accounts
  • Secure new distribution, expand existing placements, and increase velocity within assigned territory
  • Utilize company CRM and reporting tools to document all sales calls, account activity, placements, and follow-ups
  • Partner with Naked Diablo leadership and distributor/wholesaler teams to execute territory growth strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with liquor managers, store directors, buyers, bar managers, and account owners
  • Manage depletion, distribution, and volume objectives across retail and on-premise channels
  • Ensure compliance with authorized pricing, planners, programs, and promotions established by brand leadership and chain headquarters
  • Execute in-market sales support including placement optimization, display execution, menu placements, and point-of-sale visibility
  • Introduce new products, reinforce core placements, secure incremental displays, and monitor promotional performance
  • Identify and capitalize on new sales, menu, feature, and promotional opportunities within each account
  • Communicate market feedback, buyer preferences, competitive insights, and out-of-stock issues to leadership
  • Maintain accurate territory records, route planning, and administrative documentation
  • Support local events, samplings, and promotions as needed to drive trial and brand awareness
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends, to support key account needs
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Preferred experience in alcoholic beverage sales, with strong on-premise and off-premise knowledge
  • Proven ability to open new accounts, grow distribution, and close sales independently
  • Strong understanding of the spirits marketplace, distributor dynamics, and route-to-market execution
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal oversight
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competitive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to win
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift and carry 25+ pound cases of product on a repetitive basis
  • Ability to travel within the territory up to 90% of the time
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks required for account execution and merchandising
